Moving & Handling Instructor Refresher Program
Course Overview
This program is suitable for existing instructors who are qualified to QQI Level 6 Certificate in People Handling Instruction
The course covers both practical and theoretical elements of a Moving and Handling Course, so that you can perfect techniques that you have been teaching and assure yourself that you are carrying out moves correctly and in line with up to date information and research. We recommend that instructors attend refresher training every two to three years depending on how often you are training.
You will be updated on legislation changes, new equipment and updated handling techniques as well as an opportuinity to discuss and find solutions to handling problems you have encountered.
While some time is spent on theory, this course is highly practical in content with an emphasis on problem solving.
